An Intimate Lagos Wedding: Olaitan And Segun’s Ethereal Wedding Is A Beauty Worth Beholding

Time is the most precious commodity we have today and the little time we have should be spent in the arms of those we love. That, I believe was the case when Lagos-based couple, Olaitan and Segun decided to have their civil wedding tagged #LStheunion, irrespective of the coronavirus pandemic. The resulting intimate event was a beautiful sight to behold. Intimate Nigerian wedding 2020.

According to the events planners, 2706 Events, before the COVID era, Olaitan and Segun wanted an intimate #LStheunion ceremony with just 150 guests. And yes, 150 is intimate by Nigerian standards where a typical society wedding has more than 500 guests in attendance. With the pandemic and social distancing rules, the couple settled for only 14 guests at The Five Palm event center, pending when they can have a proper celebration, or Owambe like we say in Lagos.

looking effortlessly elegant, the bride opted for a contemporary bridal look in an Imad Eduso monostrap jumpsuit with angular pleated detailing on the bustier. For her beauty glam, she stuck to the minimalist theme with a nude glam and a low ponytail styled with a frontal net veil. Proving she’s every bit an unconventional bride, she opted for metallic blue nails that had us updating our summer nail goals.

For the decor, the venue was filled with an oasis of floral arrangements and a grand piano which brought its grandeur to the ambience. The golden chairs were also adorned in flowers and arranged social-distance style. Intimate Nigerian wedding 2020.

We’ve been starving for some good ole Lagos wedding pictures during this pandemic even after seeing several other beautiful Zoom weddings across the Atlantic. Olaitan and Segun’s pre-event photos are indeed a beautiful sight to behold during these times.
