Versatile and In Vogue! These Are The Best Beauty Looks From Last Week
This past week, “versatile vogue” was the name of the beauty game and it was fierce without contention. With an array of beauty looks that are nothing short of stunning, audacious, and in season, some of our favorite brown belles from around the world showed up and showed out! And we took notes. The best makeup ideas for black women in 2020.
From makeup looks that scream glam and in charge, to unconventional hair accessories too striking to miss, the beauty scene last week was defly one to revere. Effortlessly supplying a fabulous amount of black girl magic, celebrity muses like South African TV personality Ayanda Thabethe and Nigerian fashion powerhouse Toyin Lawani had us fan-girling in awe. Top makeup ideas.
Repping team short haircuts, Nollywood star Linda Osifo, shared a sultry makeup look that proved that red-colored tones on a soft face beat can do wonders for a woman’s eyes. Still, on the art of subtlety in eye makeup, fashion entrepreneur Eki Ogunbor also redefined the au natural standard of beauty with a pop of purple, as she rocked the current floating eyeliner trend.
Moving on to accessories that are oh so chic! Trendsetters like Congolese/ French model Olomide Didi-Stone and fashion creative Nikiwe Dlova, proved that standing out is never out of season, and that personality and beauty can be intertwined. Didi-Stone set a new bar for classic red lips and sleek pixie cuts, closing off her look with a pair of black trapezoid sunglasses while Nikiwe served us the tribal nostalgia we didn’t know we need. She did so by taking African natural hair braiding to a whole new level with a mix of wool and beaded adornments. – See makeup ideas.
So if you’re looking for some inspiration to lift your lockdown blues or some spice to upgrade your personal beauty palette, we’ve got you covered.

This is thirty-Slayven 😍😍😍😍😍 Happy birthday to my first friend, first teacher, first partner and first sister. The first born of my tribe, I admire you so much, just thinking of all your achievements makes me want to do more, you wear the crown so well, you became our mommy so young, when mummy left, you were only 9 but I’ve never seen your courage before, you just stepped in and became our everything. You worry about us so much, I don’t even know what my life would be like without you in it. Sisters are God’s subtle reminders to us on earth that he is here, he can’t leave heaven to stay on earth so he gave us sisters. May this year be your year of even more awesomeness, wishing you light, love, money (cos you love the finest things in the world), good health and answered prayers. Love ya sweet cheeks ❤️ @ladymak_ 🎂🌹💫
